DESPERATE JOURNALIST (Fierce Panda)
Desperate Journalist are a North London quartet who’ve been causing ruffles with their hectic live shows which blend gothic sensibilities with sensible post-punk machinations. ‘The Dark Pulls Me Under’ somehow manages to be both gorgeous and disturbing, with Finnigan repeating “psycho” in a sickly and mechanical manner...

KIT RICHARDSON joins the Cool For Cats Digital Club

The ever-growing Cool For Cats digital club is pleased to add another gem to its collection: ‘All Heart No Brains’ is the enchanting new single by songstress and pianist Kit Richardson and we’ll all be celebrating its release on Nov 12th at the Servant Jazz Quarters in Dalston.

‘All Heart No Brains’ is a soup of twinkling glockenspiels and Moog warmth, with an urgent undertone of frustrated teenage naivety. Gracious and professional, catch Kit live to experience her complex and effecting journey that subtlety juts in and out and underneath ‘alternative’ and ‘pop’.
